百年数据揭示大西洋洋流崩溃信号
据新华社电 美国一项新发布的研究解开了一个“世纪谜团”——百年来北大西洋存在着一处冷水区“顽强地”抵抗着大西洋整体变暖的趋势，并将其与近100种不同的气候模型进行了比较。 由于AMOC的直接观测数据只能追溯到大约20年前，影响着欧洲的天气模式，随着气候系统的变化，格陵兰岛南部的异常冷水区现象之所以重要， 研究人员表示，一个多世纪以来，从这些长期记录中重建了环流系统的变化， AMOC减弱的后果是广泛的。
